Our Equestrian Tartan Collection features equine-inspired wool tartan and bold motif prints 

The Anderson tartan's specific origin and date are unknown, but it complex, ‘fancy,’ pattern style emerged in the years leading up to the 1822 royal visit by HM Queen Victoria to Edinburgh - becoming popular for aesthetic rather than purely traditional reasons. It represents the Anderson family, associated with Clan Ross in the Highlands and having Lowland roots, and features a unique seven-color check that is often recognized by its rich blue, red, green, and yellow colors.

The Baird Ancient tartan honors the historically significant Scottish Clan Baird, which has roots dating back to at least the 12th century in Aberdeenshire. Though an armigerous clan with no single recognized leader in the Court of the Lord Lyon, Clan Baird is known for its historical presence, loyalty to the Scottish crown, and association with prominent figures like the inventor of television, John Logie Baird. The tartan itself features a stylish pattern of balanced stripes and checks in shades of light blue, light green, black, and pink, representing the clan's strength, resilience, and deep cultural heritage

The Campbell of Argyll tartan was created by the 6th Duke of Argyll around 1815, who added a white line to the plain Campbell tartan to distinguish his chief's sett, though the tartan itself has varied and is not officially recognized as a unique Campbell tartan by the Clan Society, unlike the Black Watch or the officially approved Campbell tartans. The original idea to create a distinct tartan for the Duke was not well-received by the wider Campbell clan

The Drummond tartan's history is deeply intertwined with Clan Drummond’s long lineage, originating from a Hungarian nobleman who accompanied Edgar the Aetheling to Scotland in the 11th century.  The clan's notable contributions include fighting with Robert the Bruce at the Battle of Bannockburn, where they used caltrops to defeat the English cavalry, and their later involvement in the Jacobite uprising.
